As a charity, the Gavin’s Mill Community Project is always grateful for any financial help our customers and supporters are able to give. We own Gavin’s Mill and the costs to keep it wind and watertight (not to mention heated) are astronomical! There are a number of ways in which you can help.
When you shop online with participating retailers, they’ll donate part of what you spend to your chosen cause. Whether you shop on your phone, laptop or tablet, you can earn free cashback donations for your cause and it won’t cost you a penny extra. Some companies, including Tesco and John Lewis, will also donate when you spend instore.
You can sign up to Easy Fundraising here and nominate Gavin’s Mill as your chosen cause https://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/create-an-account/
BetterPoints is a behaviour-change platform that rewards you for making sustainable and healthy lifestyle choices, such as walking, cycling, using public transport, and recycling. East Dunbartonshire is a sponsored area so all you need to do is download the app and you are good to go. The app tracks your movement or lets you manually log activities so you can earn points based on your tracked activity. These points can be exchanged for gift cards or donated directly to your chosen charity – which we hope, of course, will be Gavin’s Mill!
Friends of Gavin’s Mill was launched recently with a view to giving something back to our customers and supporters for a suggested donation of £10 per month. You’ll find further information here
If you just want to makea one-off donation, there are several options.
You can donate online via our JustGiving page
Alternatively, you can donate by bank transfer; our bank details are
Account name Gavin’s Mill Community Project
Sort code 82-69-32
Account Number 50104737
And of course you can also hand in donations at Gavin’s Mill
This is our last suggestion as it deals with the last gift that you will possibly make. Would it be possible for you to remember us in your Will once you have taken care of your family and other causes dear to your heart? Those who took the first steps on our Gavin’s Mill journey always intended that it should be a long term project which would continue long after others had taken their place. We want the Mill and all that it stands for to be here for future generations and we would be so grateful for your help to ensure this.

We will send you all our latest news and events, details of new products and discount codes.
