The Child in Need Institute is an award-winning Indian NGO that has been working alongside women, children and adolescents in vulnerable communities for almost 50 years. It works by partnering key local stakeholders to improve access to health services, nutrition, education and child protection.

CINI’s life changing and varied projects are focussed on prevention and human rights. In Kolkata’s slums they are delivering education and public health programmes and making sure that street connected children are safe. In the tea gardens of rural Assam they are working to improve maternal and child health, addressing issues such as child marriage, child labour and trafficking.
