East Dunbartonshire Women’s Aid (EDWA) provides refuge, information and support services for women, children and young people in the East Dunbartonshire area who have  experienced, or who are currently experiencing, domestic abuse. This may take the form of emotional, physical, sexual or financial abuse.

Its main objective is to provide a complete, all-encompassing and flexible service, which respects the rights, and responds to the needs, of the women, children and young people involved.  It also aims to empower women to take control of their lives and make decisions about their own futures.

• Refuge Accommodation
• 24 hour crisis Helpline
• Support for children and young people
• Services to help children affected by domestic abuse
